Construction managers for the new childcare facility for the City of Port Alberni. As an addition to a 110-year-old heritage building, this wood framed facility was built with high efficiency mechanical and electrical systems to a near-Passivhaus specification. Features included European windows and doors, custom curved glue laminated staircase and an impressive, peeled log support column.
